Isabella Montenegro, Korry Fellow and Curator of the "If You're ___ & You Know It" exhibition at the The Norwalk Art Space, will moderate this artist talk featuring 6 of the artists from the exhibition. The artists include Chelsea Danburg, Chris Sainato, Brett Masterson, Erin Dolan, Melissa Benedek, and Russell Miyaki.

I am pleased to share that I will be teaching this workshop this Saturday at Carriage Barn Art Center
This three-hour workshop will allow you to tap into your “flow state” while joining in community and individual art-making experiences.
First-hour community mark-making experimentation and exploration with various brushes and rollers on large and small surfaces. We will also do a series of improvisational mark-making activities as a group. We will move into color and design in hour two through collage material and color palette explorations. In the final hour, you will incorporate what you learned about mark-making, color, and design to create a series of works of art.
Throughout the course, we will discuss what getting into your “flow state” means as an artist and creator. All are welcome. This workshop is for anyone looking to be creative and spark new ideas about how to approach art-making, creativity, or how to inspire community experiences.

A "Memory Palace" is an imaginary location in your mind where you can store mnemonic images. This exhibition is a culmination of images of specific locations I have lived and depicted through an abstracted lens of New York City, New Mexico, Hawaii and Coastal Connecticut.

Looking forward to the upcoming Art show "Spectrum 2017" at Carriage Barn Arts Center in New Canaan, CT April 22nd - May, 25th 2017. Opening Reception Saturday, April 22 4-6pm.
