I often work from sense memories translating experiences into visual stories capturing the color, feel, mood and texture that encapsulate a memory. I am most intrigued by the contrast and connection between natural and urban enviornments this theme continues to arouse curiosity and inspire my work. My painting technique is a patient process of layering paint only to scratch back into layers with a palette knife to reveal moments from the past, through paint.
